The best mechanic in all of New Beijing, maybe in the whole country, Cinder has learned the hard way. After being in an accident when young, burning away parts of her body, and later waking up a cyborg.
Hated by her stepmother and only being tolerated because of her being the only one in the family with an income, she is suddenly thrust into the eyes of the public after her sister gets an incurable sickness, for which she has to take the blame.
At the same time meeting Prince Kai, who is trying his best to protect his kingdom from the Lunar monarchy, it suddenly is very important to start to find out who she really is.
The series is based on different fairy-tales that we all remember, but with a twist. Later on we also get to know Little Red Ridinghood, Rapunzel and Snow White.
