Paul and Lacey Hansen are pot-growing siblings, living together somewhere in Northern California. Suddenly they find a headless corpse on their grounds, and being drugdealers, they don't really want to call the police. After moving the body, they find it reappearing in their backyard. Someone is trying to send them a message, but this is only half the story! 

 

Being that Lutz and Hayward are former partners, both professonally and personally, they have reunited to tag-team this mystery novel. The problem is that they disagree with everything that has to be with the novel and how it should unfold. As the body count stacks up in the world of Paul and Lacey, the authors' rivalry only grows, leading to a murder mystery as unanticipated as bloody!

 

I don't think that you read this book to follow Paul and Lacey, but to read the comments and e-mails sent between the two authors. But I may be wrong. I'm not saying that the mystery is bad in itself, because it really is good, but because of the squabbling between Lutz and Hayward. If you want a mystery that's as much a mystery to you as it is to the authors, as well as a lot of laugh-out-loud moments, this is your book!
